A full-day private luxury longtail charter from Ao Nang, Krabi that covers both routes: Hong Lagoon, Hong Island and Lao Lading in the morning, then Poda, Chicken, Tup and Railay in the afternoon, ending with sunset and champagne on the water. THB 16,900 per boat for up to 4 guests, 09:30 – 18:00, with your own captain and English-speaking trip guide, a picnic lunch behind Poda, snorkelling gear and a paddleboard. It’s for guests who want the whole of Krabi in one day.
Where you go
| Time | Stop | What happens |

| 12:15 | Lao Lading (Paradise Island) | Quiet beach away from the tour-group circuit |

| 14:45 | Chicken Island | Snorkelling on the shallow reef |
| 15:45 | Tup Island | Walk the sandbar between the islands |
| 16:30 | Railay Beach & Phra Nang Cave | Beach time and the cave shrine |

The order of stops can change on the day: your captain plans the route around the tide and sea conditions, and around what your group wants.
Eight stops sounds like a lot. It isn’t a schedule you have to keep. The boat is yours, and your captain sets the route around your group on the day — stay longer where you like, skip what doesn’t appeal, swim until you’re done.
Lunch at our spot behind Poda
After the Hong morning, we cross to Poda and set up behind the island — a quiet spot most boats don’t go to, and some aren’t permitted to without national park approval. Cushions, a beach mat, a full lunch set, fresh coconuts and a dessert platter, with the island to yourselves.

The crew
There are hundreds of longtail boats in Krabi, and plenty of them now advertise “private” and “luxury.” Most are the same boat with cushions: no English-speaking guide, no standard for what gets delivered, and a day that runs on the captain’s timetable rather than yours.
Krabi Bliss runs one standard on every trip. Every crew member speaks English, is trained to the same service and safety standard, and takes the photographs — so the lagoon, the picnic and the sunset come home with you rather than staying on someone’s phone. They represent Krabi Bliss and Southern Thailand hospitality, and they’re proud of both; guests name them in nearly every review. The day is built around your group: your captain reads tide and wind to choose the order of stops, your guide sets the pace. The aim is simple — this is the highlight of your Krabi trip.

What guests say
Bridget V.This was the most amazing longtail boat experience!! The company was very responsive and were flexible with the weather changes… hopefully you get lucky enough to have Fern as your guide!
Ian S.A luxury style tour and they help to take photos, give you lunch and food, and are flexible about timing so that the tour feels custom to your taste… Worth the premium price if you can spare it.
Lidia H. O.We were taken to the most stunning, magical, and exclusive islands, far away from the crowds… Our captain, Afan, also made the trip unique.
CaitlinWe had the most amazing day with Krabi Bliss… We looked at several companies before booking and am so glad that we booked with Krabi Bliss.
Good to know
Combo, Hong or 4 Islands?
The combo is for guests who want the full experience in one day — the emerald lagoon in the morning, the classic beaches in the afternoon, sunset on the way home. If you’d rather slow down, Hong alone is our pick: Hong Lagoon is the moment most guests remember. We compare the two in detail in our guide: Hong Island or 4 Islands in Krabi: which should you choose?
Why are other “private luxury” longtail boats in Krabi listed for less?
“Luxury” isn’t a regulated word on Krabi’s boats, and in the last few years many operators have started using it. What sits behind the label varies widely, and that explains most of the price gap. Before you book any private luxury longtail, ask five questions. Does an English-speaking guide come on board, or only a captain? How long has the crew been with the operator, and are they paid well enough not to rush? Who prepares the food, and when? How often is the engine serviced? How old is the boat? Our answers: every Krabi Bliss trip carries an English-speaking guide as well as the captain. Our crew have been with us since the beginning; we took our time finding and training them, and we pay them well so nobody is hurrying you back. Lunch is prepared by our trusted vendor on the morning of your trip. The engine is serviced at least twice a year and is larger than is standard for a longtail of this size, for reliability and a smoother ride. The boat is new, and maintained to stay that way. We set out what each price level in Krabi includes in our guide: How much does a private longtail boat cost in Krabi?
Is it a long day?
8.5 hours, but the pace is yours — the captain adjusts the route, and there’s a long picnic lunch in the middle.
Can children come?
Yes — life jackets in all sizes, and the crew are used to toddlers. Under-3s are exempt from park fees; children over 3 are THB 250 each above the 4-guest base.
Staying outside Ao Nang?
Klong Muang and Tubkaek pickup is THB 800 round trip. Railay guests are collected and returned by boat at Railay for THB 1,000.
Is it suitable for pregnant guests?
We don’t recommend the boat ride during pregnancy.
What should we bring?
Sunscreen, swimwear, a light layer for the crossing, and towels — most hotels will lend beach towels if you ask. Everything else is on board.
Cancellation?
Free cancellation up to 7 days before the trip; 20% charge from 7 to 3 days before; 50% within 3 days.
What if the weather is bad?
If the marine authorities close the pier for safety, you get a full refund or a reschedule to the next available slot — your choice. If the national park advises boats against going to Hong, trips can still run on those days, but we put safety first. We’ll contact you in advance and you choose: switch to the 4 Islands, move to another day, or take a full refund.
Can we bring our dog?
We love pets, but the national park doesn’t allow animals on the islands, so they’d spend the day on the boat. Better to leave them with the hotel.
Meeting point
Free pickup and drop-off from any hotel within Ao Nang; we take you to the pier. If you’re making your own way, meet at the Nopparat Thara Welcome Signboard — your guide will be in a Krabi Bliss shirt.
